I have been working at INC Research full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

I remain impressed at the effort taken to welcome and retain new starters. The Managers/Leaders I met have been helpful and approachable and, dare I suggest, empathic.

    Cons

Some systems and processes would benefit from updating to match the success and ambitions of the company.

I have been working at INC Research full-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

Supportive team, challenging, growth is possible if you do a good work, salary is comparable to other CROs

    Cons

Growing really fast, means lack of resources and constant struggle, that leads to great people to leave the company as they are burned with work.

    Advice to Management

    Hire, hire, hire

I worked at INC Research full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

They have a fantastic onboarding and overall training program - even better than many of the larger CROs.

    Cons

Your career at INC could hinge on whether the department head liked you or not. Lots of maneuvering and strategizing needed to be done to get ahead; it wasn't a given that your job performance alone would influence your career progression. They also forced PMs living within an hour of the office to come to the office at least 3 days/wk, even though they would put up to 3 people in a cramped office due to lack of space.

    Disapproves of CEO

    Pros

None that I can think of - really

    Cons

Very poor management, inexperienced personnel, and everyone that I know feels the same way...so I just have to wonder how they have any positive reviews seems very odd. 100% approve of the CEO is that even a possible statistic....100% come on....?

    Advice to Management

    Get Replaced

    Pros

Work from home is allowed, some individuals get bonus for performance, clients are generally appreciative of good work, benefits are ok

    Cons

Extremely high workload, clinical study team members can be incompetent and will not be held accountable for poor quality work

    Advice to Management

    Place some value in accountability

I worked at INC Research (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Good people to work with, some good people to work for

    Cons

    Focus on short term profitability was a bit consuming since becoming public;
Some functional areas were going through significant restructure and staff turnover typical of a CRO

    Advice to Management

Support better understanding by employees of financial management and everyone's role with company profitability if that is going to the be overriding interest.

    Pros

If you get assigned to a good team then that makes you want to work hard and enjoy your day.

    Cons

Doing layoffs, promote people that don't know how to do their job, high turn-over as the ones that understand the industry realize what type of company it is and will run. People are allowed to throw people under the bus.

    Advice to Management

Recognize the strength and abilities of you employees and let go of the ones that don't produce and understand their job
