I have been working at INC Research full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Generous vacation time and the ability to work from home

    Cons

No work life balance, study resourcing assigns too many studies at one time with no consideration of current work load, lack of realistic training for new employees

    Advice to Management

Cascade down to lowest ranks that they are important and their work leads to everyone's success. Recognize the lower ranks instead of always highlighting the executive staff

I have been working at INC Research full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

The study team you are with can make or break your experience. I had an excellent study team and LM who cared about my thoughts and progress. The benefits are good and 401k is matched yearly. On-boarding and training are well done. 4 weeks of PTO yearly with hours accruing each paycheck. Week long winter holiday. All in all, a good experience.

    Cons

It's fast growing company. Many growing pains, lacking in care for employees, and so much office politics. Your job performance won't always get you the promotion, sometimes a person with total lack of skill and experience becomes a PM. Salaries are low and internal raises are a joke. I've seen PSs get hire with no experience and a level below me and make almost what I make. A lot of programs are being put into play now that have not been vetted by people who actually work in it daily. Maternity leave is a disgrace.

    Advice to Management

Create a solid TMF program, makes all departments accountable (cough SSU, reg doc), care about the mothers in your company!

I have been working at INC Research full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Very flexible work schedule and ability to work from home if needed (Austin office). The entire company is closed for almost two weeks in December and you still receive pay.

    Cons

False promises, workload, and low pay. I have noticed a pattern with myself and colleagues who have been promised promotions but still haven't received them 8-9 months later. I have the most tasked work on my study but am lowest paid. Project Specialists are treated as assistants so they many times do a lot of work outside of their job scope. The starting rate of pay is pretty low and it takes a long time to get a promotion or significant raise.

    Advice to Management

Be honest with employees on promotion timelines.

I have been working at INC Research full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

High tech office, stand up desk, possibilities to work from home when needed if your manager allows

    Cons

Your experience will depend on a team you are in, also a lot of disorganization and miscommunication between departments. Seems like people don't know what they supposed to do and things get overlooked.

I have been working at INC Research full-time

    Pros

Plenty of opportunity; there are some great managers, I love mine; opportunity to work remote, Have learned a lot

    Cons

There is a lot of work to be gone; you really need to ask questions about what your job will be at the company, and the team you land on really makes or breaks you.

I have been working at INC Research full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Everyone is extremely helpful within the company, regardless to if they work with you or not. I think unity like this is rare in corporations these days. Very open communication with everyone, and able to move laterally within company if current job isn't for you.

    Cons

With it being an international company, your managers and team are rarely located in your area. This makes it is hard to execute tasks effectively without your team physically being there in the office with you. (No matter how many different communication software programs there are, nothing compares to face-to-face interactions).
PS's do not receive a bonus.

    Advice to Management

Maybe focus on employee's location in regards to assigning LM/PM. It is most beneficial to at least have them within the same country.
