    Pros

Gave me an opportunity to start my career in clinical research.

    Cons

Low salary, too much workload, unpaid overtime and low chances of career progration.

    Advice to Management

Be more flexible, listen to their employees and offer solutions when they have too much to handle and offer more opportunities for promotion.

    Pros

INC are a friendly company, they have a well planned induction process that introduces new staff members to the INC way of doing things.

    Cons

No financial support for home based employees to equip their home office when they join INC. Other large CROs offer an allowance to support their new employees purchasing equipment like a chair, desk, shredder, notice board etc, but not INC.

    Advice to Management

You save costs by having home based staff, at least pay for a desk and chair for them. Look at how other CROs support their new starters. It does make a difference

I worked at INC Research full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

    -Good Salary
    -Fast recruitment process
-False image of being top 5 big CROs in world.

    Cons

    -POOR training

-POOR knowledge and understanding of Leads/PMs. Who are based in different country than you and have major lack of understanding.

-Major lack of communication in team. People who have information hide it and don't bother helping.

-If you are CRA,then they will make you work like dog. They have so called big teams of feasibility specialist, contract specialist, site start up experts, project specialist who just dump their work on you and leave a cunning smiley :-) at the end of their emails.

-Apparently everyone feels that they are overworked and have no hours to spend on any project. (Then what are you doing exactly if you are telling everyone the same story.)

-Not good for people who work hard, know their job and take ownership of their work because overall culture is sly and lazy.
    - They say that their tagline is "I own it" but trust me the reality is exactly opposite. Everyone is looking for some excuse to avoid work.

    Advice to Management

The speeches from the CEO Jamie Mcdonald are very inspiring but the staff is so uninterested, lazy and sly. Is this result of mergers that they have no sense of belonging. Is it growing too fast and turning into a giant mess where no one knows what they are suppose to be doing.

    Pros

Supportive team, challenging, growth is possible if you do a good work, salary is comparable to other CROs

    Cons

Growing really fast, means lack of resources and constant struggle, that leads to great people to leave the company as they are burned with work.

    Advice to Management

    Hire, hire, hire

I have been working at INC Research full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

A lot of work going in this growing company means you will be thrown into lots of challenges - great for gaining experience. Career progression opportunities are there if you bide your time and work in the right department. Payroll is very good. Good social side. Great people.

    Cons

You do not get paid enough, flexible working policy is implemented differently in different departments, does not have a proper bonus structure in place, benefits are quite lacklustre compared to other CROs (Save for Gym membership). No overtime paid.

    Advice to Management

If you are serious about retaining your quality talent, develop a bonus structure.
If you are serious about your flexible working schedule, develop a consistent approach across all business units.
Make the PDR more reflective and pay increases thus balanced.
Reward employees who consistently go above and beyond with incentives or holiday in lieu etc.

    Pros

Good coffee machine & free orange squash

    Cons

People crying at their desks for being overworked.

People making mistakes and being blamed by managers for it.

A lot of people on long term sick leave or resign after few days, weeks and months..

Little pay, expect to work weekends, evenings and days off.

    Advice to Management

Keep at it..doing a brilliant job in making people leave..

I have been working at INC Research full-time

    Pros

Pension contribution is reasonably generous. That's about it.

    Cons

    Where do I begin?
Wages are way below industry average, and so are the benefits. They will offer you a lowish starting salary promising rapid promotion and increases which in fact will only be given to members of an elite clique (especially if they threaten to leave). Others will sweat blood and not get so much as a "thank you".
Local management is practically non-existent;- now that the office has relocated from Battle to Lewes literally all managers are gone! As are 60% of the workforce. New ones are not recruited, no wonder, who would want to work for peanuts?
No recognition for your hard work. People whose "faces fit" will get promoted only.
Before you consider joining, take a look around on PharmiWeb and see how many openings INC have at any one time. (Currently >30) This is not a sign of an expanding company, this is a sign of a company which people flee from at the first chance (office relocation leading to voluntary redundancy...). No new recruits, so the remaining people are getting even more increase in their workload (some of us are 300% over resourced!)
When you apply for a job elsewhere your prospective employer will assume that because your salary is so low that you cannot be very good at your job, so will either make you a poor offer, or even none at all.
Steer clear of this company. If only there had been someone to warn me before I joined.

    Advice to Management

Read your own material regarding commitment to recognition of hard work, to equal treatment, to caring about the employees and the rest.
    T. Fitzgerald said recently that INC wanted to be the industry leader in recognition. They have rather a long way to go.
