I have been working at Iceland Foods full-time

    Pros

    - I have worked in multiple different stores with plenty of different managers. - Support from management tends to be good in terms of progression with the company. - You get to build a good rapport with people from the area and are able to personalise service in a manner that isn't robotic. - In my store I will finish no later than 18:30pm (Unless there is a changeover). - Having the pleasure of working with some decent people.

    Cons

    - No choice or much warning if you are being transferred to another store. - Unprofessional (In my current store) in terms of service, storing Home Deliveries, staff doing silly things and constantly getting away with it regardless of reports made. - A lot of management like playing god with your life and have a habit of gossiping behind your back. - 1 and a half hour breaks when the workload is extreme, that you have to skip on a regular basis to get the job done. - Company makes a lot of promises that they can't keep, for example the 'Sneeze screens' in the current epidemic still haven't been installed at my store. - Company will gladly promise to spend millions on a 2 night stay at Caesars Palace for all management but can't afford to invest extra hours into a store and then makes a lot of Area Managers redundant and HR teams. - Constantly hearing stories of good workers on the area who have left due to stress (Like I will be) or have had a mental breakdown.
