    The pension scheme is incredibly generous! Salary is decent for academic in London. Research Services great in helping to apply for grants etc.
    Opportunity to meet very high level academics at the top of their game.

    Cons

    Level of work heavily dependent on Academic Fellow you are under / research group you are a part of.
    Pretty competitive work environment – but expected at high level institution.
