    Top institution, recognised world-wide. Postdoctoral centre will help you grow professionally.

    Cons

    Very fast-paced and increasingly shifting the "publish or perish" policy to "write a funding application or perish"

    Pros

    Pretty decent pay for what you would receive as a student, around £10 - 12 an hour.
    Flexible working hours, requiring a minimum of 2, 3-hour shifts a week.

    Cons

    Can take a while to get use to the system.
    Have to take an induction training course over a weekend without pay

    Pros

    Flexibility, benefits package, many great colleagues, diversity, location.

    Cons

    Limited incentive to excel, mediocrity and poor behaviours tolerated and even rewarded, HR not Talent Management, bureacracy, 'Imperial expectations' are written but not lived.

    Advice to Management

    Address Imperial expectations, they are simply not embedded in real behaviours
