    Most lecturers good at explaining definitions and examples
    Responsible staff

    Cons

    Heavy pressure and sophisticated theoretical content really struggling.
    Fewer interesting extra-curricular activities
    Increasingly decreasing level of food

    Advice to Management

    Focus more on improving wellbeing and welfare of students, or otherwise put less stress.
    Increasing the quality of catering.

    Pros

    Excellent centre for research in central London.

    Cons

    Pension contributions have increased to maintain the pensions for the older staff. It is still a defined benefit scheme but contributions have increased.

    My experience has been good. Supervisors are very supportive. Administration is naggy but effective.

    World leading research institution with amazing academic support and training available

    Cons

    Can have toxic research environment, not enough support for mental health issues (but this is slowly changing)

    Advice to Management

    More mental health support for PhD students needed!
