I worked at Indra full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

    - Diversity and number of projects & clients.
    - This is an IBEX 35 company (an index like the UK FTSE 100); so it is one of the 35 most important companies across the country and if you say that are/were working for Indra, then even the strongest door will be open at once, like if you were God.

    Cons

    - No Work/Life balance; as every consulting firm at that level.

    Advice to Management

I think they are doing well now. A few years ago the company had another CEO and things were quite different. Now, that they have change it, it appear to be much better.

I worked at Indra full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

The company environment seemed appealing in the beginning and there were some awesome people in the team.

    Cons

The culture of the company is unacceptable, there are no work ethics and the management lacks any leadership skills. The Spanish influence is very negative and does not align with the British standards.

There are no visible company values and as employees people are seen as numbers, not as human beings.

Destructive atmosphere and demotivating work conducts.

    Advice to Management

To Indra UK Management: management training is really necessary but might not be enough. Attitude will continue to contribute to the average 1 year employees turnover.

    I worked at Indra full-time

    Pros

Interesting projects around the world. Steep learning curve. Promotion opportunities for ambitious, hard-working people

    Cons

Long hours are frequent, due to under-resourcing or lack of planning. Work is very disorganised. Management style is old-fashioned and based on fear

    Advice to Management

Better planning and organisational skills for managers. Enforce processes for structured project management. Focus more on project quality, not just on costs. Have a healthier, more positive people management style

    Pros

Team, salary, bonus and office setting.

    Cons

Relocating needs, 3 month minimum stage in projects abroad, frequent traveling involved, long hours and full dedication.

    Advice to Management

Management needs to know that there are several ways in which consulting can be performed, not only based in long hours and frequent traveling abroad.

I worked at Indra full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Colleagues. Chances of getting promotion quick (role, not salary). Projects are attractive. Good place for getting experience and then run away.

    Cons

No life. Working overtime for free. No training. Massive rotation. Management pushing just for their own bonus. The quality of the product at some stages is highly questionable.

    Advice to Management

If you do not want people leave, treat them as they deserve and pay accordingly.
