I have been working at Infoblox full-time

    Pros

The people here are great, they live our corporate values daily and encourage one another. They also do amazing work and provide world class products and services that I am proud to be a part of. We also have fun events like wine down Wednesday, monthly company sponsored lunches and ping pong tournaments.

    Cons

Nothing so far, it's been a great experience

I have been working at Infoblox full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Good colleagues trying to make the best out of a bad situation
HQ offices are nice, plush and have free drinks and snack stations

    Cons

Bad management and far too many layers of management
Management unable to make any decisions, short or long term
Too many policies, procedures and political mind games
Internal staff overlooked for promotion, company too busy hiring new staff keeping the head count up to be concerned about existing staff
HQ used to be buzzing, people around 24/7, you’re now lucky if there is anyone in HQ after 6pm or at weekends

    Advice to Management

Grow a pair, or a backbone, recognize your current staff
Take the company private again, rebuild the culture that has been lost

I worked at Infoblox (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Some great people and a first class DNS product

    Cons

Boiler room environment that has a habit of sacrificing long term relationships for short term gains. Has good product vision, but lacks cohesion in their go-to-market strategy

    Advice to Management

Define the vision, engage with employees, drive a single cohesive strategy

I worked at Infoblox full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

There weren't any to speak of.

    Cons

When they bought IID they used high pressure tactics to get contracts signed without negotiation. After receiving the first part of my signing bonus (six months) I wrote an email to my boss and his boss asking to discuss management (or lack thereof). My boss responded by retaliating. I tendered my resignation to HR. HR never even asked what the heck was going on.

    Advice to Management

Jesper: People are saying the right things but information is not communicated timely or reliably. Good luck with that.
