I worked at Inmarsat full-time for more than 10 years

    Pros

Inmarsat is an incredibly employee friendly organisation and in all aspects looks after it's staff with a really sharp focus on flexibility and family-first. It has a great social side and is by far the most inclusive and diverse organisation I've ever worked for, it's also the closest most of us will get to rocket science.

    Cons

There is a gym at London HQ and you will feel guilty for not using it :-)

I worked at Inmarsat full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Some of the people were great. Particularly liked the USA operations and culture

    Cons

Sadly my experience at Inmarsat left me angry and broken. They are very good at bullying, harassment and using NDAs to silence people. I would agree with many reviews if you are an English white male above middle class that came from a military background you will do well. (Old boys network) There is a distinct lack of diversity in leadership, but this is not the main issue with Inmarsat. If you dare to think differently or challenge points of view your days are numbered, you will be singled out and you will be taken down. When you go to HR they will speak softly whilst digging your grave, they are there to protect only the company. I have had a long a varied career with many great companies and by comparison this company is completely incompetent, vindictive and vile. They will wax lyrical about culture and values and force you to take part in embarrassing and time wasting group activities, but they don't practice a single thing they preach. I wish I never set foot in that place.
