I have been working at InnerWorkings full-time

    Pros

It was a fortune 500 company, known in the print/marketing world

    Cons

Lots of older generation that stayed on for years, not welcoming to younger generation. Minimum wage given but expects extraordinary efforts and time. No room for growth or advancement in career. Poor management all around. No social interactions, company is divided into social hierarchy.

    Advice to Management

Take care of employees, they make your company.

I have been working at InnerWorkings part-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

Big company back-up so you do feel like you have support from different areas within the company. Expanding world-wide so this could be the next big thing.

    Cons

Very little support from management who are only interested in looking good for their big bosses. Basically you are left to your own devices but as everyone is dissatisfied it just means everyone is looking for the exit.

    Advice to Management

Start by solving the problems,ie yourselves and you might gain a little bit of respect back.

I worked at InnerWorkings full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Great company culture, if you like the start-up kind of vibe. No dress code. Engineers are encouraged to innovate and experiment. The .Net development team in particular has some extremely talented individuals. You will learn a lot if you put your mind and heart into it.

    Cons

The pay sucks -- at least, for .Net developers specifically. It's like really bad.

I have been working at InnerWorkings full-time

    Pros

Like any company you make friends with your respective team and coworkers, benefits are okay, they pay you on time (most of the time) - it's a job mostly

    Cons

big disconnect between HQ and satellite offices, also most of upper management lives in a bubble with regards to financial hardships of employees, bonus structure is tailored in a way that makes it almost impossible to achieve (meaning no bonus for you), don't look for any reward for hardwork-it doesn't exist, and you should shudder at the mere mention of VALO

I worked at InnerWorkings full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Getting to work with fortune 500 clients, very cool spirits and beers brands. Compared to their competitors, InnerWorkings has, without a doubt, the best internal systems in place. While the tech can always use improvement, it's miles above companies that think they are in InnerWorkings league. Processes, for the most part, are locked in.

    Cons

As with other companies in their industry, there are countless shortcomings. Here are a few... * Office culture varies wildly from location to location. * Depending on your office location, there is no real upwards mobility. * The sales force has little to no understand of the product(s) they are selling, which creates wildly uncomfortable situations when clients are on boarded under false pretenses. * The pay... is minimal compared to their competitors. * There's no real interest to attract top talent. * Systems are constantly rolled out half baked.

    Advice to Management

You are the best in the business. There's no doubt about that. But, if you do not pivot and decide to start attracting actual talent to every office, you are going to fall behind faster than you think. Summer hours and beer fridges do not replace higher and more livable salaries. Keep pushing the technology forward. Again, you are ahead of the competition, but they are snapping at your heals.

I have been working at InnerWorkings full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Oldsmar area, option to work from home on select occasions .

    Cons

Management is constantly changing. People constantly leaving without replacements. Pay is terrible. Everyone is stretched too thin getting more and more work everyday with no compensation. Managers lie to your face. No communication. No training. Managers truly do not care about you or if you leave.
