I worked at Instrumental full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

    - Great leadership with bags of experience, personable, warm and lots to learn from. - Well backed with inspirational mentors at original investment company and development opportunities. - Talented, diverse and relatively autonomous team to deliver on companies vision with freedom to grow, explore, fail occasionally and develop from practice. - Interesting and contemporary side of the marketing and music industry.... - Companies brand and image is as internal in values and vision as external in its promises.

    Cons

    - Reasonable trade off of progressional structure, benefits and incentives that come with scale up type businesses as opposed to corporates

    Advice to Management

Continue to put your faith in promising people, they’ll stay lifelong fans :)

I worked at Instrumental full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Instrumental is constantly evolving. It's a fantastic place to work if you're looking to build your skills in more than one area, and lots of great opportunities were provided to me during my two years employment here. In addition, everyone in the office is friendly, professional and welcoming, plus passionate about their job. Monthly all-hands meetings with evening drinks are great fun and you're sure to make... great friends here.

    Cons

Not really a con, but if you're someone who prefers to fly under-the-radar then Instrumental might not be for you. The business is fairly small but moves at such a pace that all employees need to be passionate and adaptable.

I worked at Instrumental full-time for more than a year

    Pros

    • Instrumental have created an incredible product with TalentAI which is revolutionising the way Record Labels sign and track artists • The level of interest within the music industry is exceptionally high so it is an amazing opportunity for anyone in business development or marketing • Startup freedom with the benefit of substantial investment allows every employee to be entrepreneurial and make a name for... themselves, whilst having far greater support than they normally would in a similar sized company • Excellent working environment with great people and support • A genuinely fun place to work, more akin to a family atmosphere than a corporate one • Working with record labels is incredibly fun, with many perks • Feels like you are part of something special. Imagine working for Google, LinkedIn or Amazon as they were taking off but in the music industry

    Cons

    • Currently TalentAI is still in its inception, with many record labels signing up every week. If you are looking for a new position, now is the best time to join and make your mark within the company and music industry. This may not be the case in 12 months as Instrumental will be significantly larger due to ever increasing investment and growth.
