I worked at Ipsos for less than a year

    Pros

Great working environment, staff and supervisors really friendly and easy to get along with

    Cons

They don't care if you have any personal issues going on in your life. As a former employee through an agency, I was going through a very tough personal issue and they told the agency not to bring me back which is unfair. The agency knew about what happened and they even told Ipsos MORI about what had happened but Ipsos weren't interested. Very unfair. A little bit of compassion and understanding wouldn't go a miss.

    Advice to Management

A little bit of compassion, sympathy and understanding wouldn't go a miss. Management don't care about anything. They only want you there to do the h=job. They couldn't care if your leg was hanging off, they would still expect you to work.

    Pros

Great work colleagues and pleasant working environment. S

    Cons

Be wary of 6 month probation periods in your contract for full time employment. The position may turn into a 6 month contract at short notice. Internal systems can be antiquated as the company will block any external IT systems due to perceived data breeches.

    Disapproves of CEO

I have been working at Ipsos full-time for less than a year

    Pros

informal culture, broad range of opportunities to gain experience in different sectors. Better paid than most other research agencies. Less volatile working environment than other agencies. Easy environment to work in.

    Cons

Not a destination any decent graduate (top 30 uni) should consider. Badly paid compared to the London employment market. Pay rises between all grades are not worth the hassle of getting promoted, you could invest the time and effort in getting a different job. Hours can be very long (50+ pw). Employee benefits if you are not married with kids are rubbish.
