Cons
Low salary and they don’t care about employees. You are a slave who making money for them. And no bonus from audit where manager will get it.

Doesn't RecommendNegative OutlookI worked at Itsu full-time for less than a year
Pros
Stylish central London office, Free lunch in restaurants, ownership of projects (good experience short term, but becomes too much longer term and there will be no support)
Cons
-clear hiring preference for those from wealthy background (read WHITE) glaring lack of diversity despite being an “Asian-inspired” brand. - JULIAN METCALFE the oafish chaotic founder who insists on being involved across all areas despite having little too no knowledge in anything apart from sales and operations. He wanders the office behaving as if he’s a cutesy naive child and then behind closed doors will overtly disrespect and bully those that work directly with him. Have noticed him being very sexist, making racist jokes in front of minority staff, and regularly shouting loudly and aggressively at managers TIL they’re in tears. (A technique which his leadership team mimic) - head office is in constant turmoil and there’s a very high staff turnover due to people leaving after breakdowns or lack of support (mainly Julian’s mistreatment) or by being discreetly fired when Julian decided he’s displeased. - schoolgirl gossiping, hostility and aggression amongst department heads.

Pros
Paid breaks, you can eat and drink for free.
Cons
Racists issues. Pressure to be impossibly faster doing things. They won't acknowledge you when you do things right, but they will punish you for when you do wrong. Responsabilities on you that you don't get paid for (aka tanking to money bag with you to the bank, staying until late doing the cash close, etc...)

I have just read the article :” Mr-Sushi-serves-fast-food-revolution-Itsu” .If you're going to lie - please do so in private so that we can be spared your pompous attempt to seem noble. Let me correct this article for anyone reading - I was let go from Itsu in March at the onset of the pandemic so he has definitely retrenched people and I might add robbed me of the opportunity to participate in the furlough scheme at no cost to Itsu. So thanks for leaving me unemployed and unable to access the furlough for the last 6 months during the pandemic and you still have the gusto to claim the high ground on a news outlet that you have let no one go! Disgraceful!

If you like to work in backstabbing fake and toxic environment - this job is for you :) Company promotes ''family'' like culture. How it is important to listen, understand, equality etc. yet the ones promoting it - doing the opposite.

Pros

the company in my opinion is awful, they do not care about their employees. It does not matter how well you work and how hard you work, you are never rewarded in this job. Salaries are not competitive at all, you do not get much as a team member because you have to grow in the company and get higher positions before you get a decent salary. They cut hours as they please and make 1 person do 2 people's job to still profit during certain periods of the year. The managers I have met in my shop were absolutely incompetents, but still in itsu they hire anybody even if you do not speak a word of English. I have even faced a sexist co-worker that made comments on me and my other female co-workers.
