    Competitive Salary, good benefits to social activity and high street discounts, 10% discount rising regularly to 15% in argos, sainsburys and habitat respectively.

    Cons

    Unsocial hours, long working weeks when salaried.

    Advice to Management

    Go back to your roots and become the family orientated company you once was.

    A lot was spent on training and development early on

    Cons

    Bullied out of job by bad area manager after being a top performer, no further progression

    Advice to Management

    Look after talent and don't let long serving area managers get away with bullying

    Good working environment with good team spirit. Busy work day with different days.

    Cons

    Long hours, weekends and Bank Holidays to work. Many hours on feet with high physical level, not a great life/work balance.

    Advice to Management

    Good for a younger person with no family ties. Difficult to achieve a lot of KPIs for bonus structure.

    Training and Development was very good, with plenty of resources available to all levels of the team. The best I have seen.

    Cons

    Poor HR Department, who fail to listen and deal with issues. Senior management not in touch with all levels of colleagues

    strong brand , Excellent values, Investor in people, cares a great deal about its colleagues in what ever branch i went to.

    Cons

    too many part time jobs colleagues would be more great full if they were full time.
    pay colleagues more and lower store managers pay the store managers job does not warranty that type of salary

    Advice to Management

    please recognise colleagues that have earned the right to a promotion and not one that is the most liked individual, I am not saying this is across the board however i have seen it enough times in my service
