I worked at J. Walter Thompson Worldwide

        Pros

        Some nice people, good cafeteria.

        Cons

Management simply do not care about you - you are just a tool to “please” their clients, who they bend over backwards for in fear of upsetting them. Do not expect any support if you are going through a difficult time, and do not expect to do anything vaguely creative. Also a massive problem with the gender pay gap. They rely on their reputation to attract new talent and providing superficial “benefits” like a terrace...

I worked at J. Walter Thompson Worldwide full-time for more than a year

        Pros

Great on CV - especially for planners Clients with interesting budgets and possibilities Lovely people

        Cons

If you are not the JWT-type, it'll be hard to fit in (diversity what?) Especially in the planning department a sad lack of diversity of backgrounds and people Crazy and verbally violent people are allowed, apparently Clients are boring, too serious (oil companies, finance) Salaries are a joke, and gender pay gap is a thing Impossible to have any sort of promotion or pay rise

        Advice to Management

Try and understand better the talent in your team and champion them. Protect them, and make them feel listened and valued. Give opportunities also to others than just the grads.
