Great people, no benefits at all

    Pros

Bread, fruit, tea and coffee in the kitchen. Beautiful office space and great people. Possibility to work from home. Flexibility in working hours. Trying to keep the travel as sustainable as possible.

    Cons

Absolutely no benefits. Pension and holidays are the legal minimum. Some employees noticed that the pension was not paid in for some months but was taken out of the wages. If you work in sales you get massive bonuses, otherwise you get nothing, no matter how well you do your job or how many extra projects you take on to help the team. There is no option to get ahead in the company. They keep mentioning amazing business trips as a bonus but they are mostly reserved for the sales people. Too focused on growth which left the company struggling for money. Horrible finance management that has been going on since I started and never got better despite many promises from the CEO.

Best place I've worked so far

    Pros

Overall, Jacada was an incredible place to work - great bunch of people, professional yet fun work environment, competitive commission structure, beautiful office. No micromanagement and a very collaborative culture with everyone really friendly and willing to help each other. I honestly looked forward to going into work each day. I will really miss working here and seeing what it could have become, but glad to have met some amazing people that I continue to call friends.

    Cons

Poor financial management. Company had a lot of potential, sad to see go under with COVID19.

Financial mess & some managers with lack of knowledge

    Pros

    - central location - organic snacks & milk - great colleagues to work with

    Cons

    - payments are very frustrating, many mistakes, many risks. This has been an ongoing issue even though the CEO promises constantly to get better, but it never does - some Line Managers are not knowledgeable, with no experience and their attitude is fake, hence there is no trust - there are no employees paid to cover weekends but emergencies arise mostly on weekends because is a travel business. This is very stressfull for some Teams - Company culture prides itself to be open and multicultural but all managers are British and there is a very hard chance for Europeans or other cultures to be promoted as managers. -pension rate from the employer is at the minimum - only Sales people (Travel Designers) gets a fantastic salary and they are praised like divas in the business, like if there was no work behind the scenes, no operations, no reservations
