    Pros

You get to work on two fantastic British brands with lots of heritage and a global reputation.

    Cons

The size of the company makes a lot of silo's with a lack of communication between teams which can be frustrating.

    Advice to Management

Develop a cohesive integrated team approach to comms.

I have been working at Jaguar Land Rover full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

The top management at JLR is transparent. Managers are great mentors. Overall a great group of people doing a very challenging job

    Cons

Work pressure has increased over the last few years but I guess this is the same across all industries now. Transformation phase is recognised and supported by management team.

    Advice to Management

Break the silos and collaborate more for the overall benefit of the company

I have been working at Jaguar Land Rover full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Expanding organisation, lots of young ambitious employees, prestigious brands

    Cons

lack of clarity in processes, too rapid expansion means infrastructure is no there like car park, office space, IT infrastructure, and some under-resourced teams

    Advice to Management

Top management, specially those who have been in the company 20+ years need to believe and take part in change. Get industry experts to help you grow more robustly.

I worked at Jaguar Land Rover full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Great family atmosphere - great comradery really helpful and understanding. Great for those who go with the flow!

    Cons

Archaic structure (3 directorate tiers and 2 management tiers!). Not for the ambitious with new ideas especially when you are not management. If you go against the flow... this isn't for you.

    Advice to Management

Hiring consultants to tell you what your full-time staff are telling you is not only a waste but also desperately undermining. It creates deep resentment and distrust.

Trust your team and give them the resources they need. They don't always need better pay - they need to be listened too.

And stop wasting your time with powerpoint! its 2018, not 1998! There are digital systems that can give you a one-source-of-truth.

Good work - life balance, good chances to grow if you have the correct skills, friendly environment

    Cons

Sometimes communication struggles due to a fast growing company and you need specific skills to tackle this but I would not say is something you don't see everywhere.
