Pros

I am obligated to put something here and I wish it was something positive but in my time there isn’t one thing.

Cons

Where to begin...First, the President Tom Tegeder truly does not care about his employees and is a complete joke. He is unwilling to adapt to the way companies operate nowadays and if he continues this way he will force the company to move back into the garage where it all started 45 years ago. Upper management in general is a catastrophic disaster to put it kindly. The amount of time and resources they spend discussing and not following through on those discussions is laughable. The best part is they are so paranoid about what the employees think, however when they find out what we truly think they run around like a chicken with its head cut off trying to figure out what to do. The average sales rep doesn’t even make 60k and there is a draw. The only way you will make more is if you are the select favorite group who is hand given their sales. Benefits are horrendous and the 401k match is abysmal. You won’t get a full 10 days of vacation until your third year and they don’t have sick days. Culture: This building is littered with gossip, lies, deceit and is flat out mentally exhausting to be around. Constant Unfulfilled promises.

Pros

The company makes great promises. They hold a lot of meetings for open discussions.

Cons

Culture is unmotivated. There are no annual reviews or raises for hourly employees. Salary employees still have to punch in and out. You only get 5 PTO days and those are also your sick days. Limited holidays off. If you start working and your 90 day grace period over laps any holidays, you don’t get paid for those holidays. Inter-departmental bickering. Upper management cannnot make any real decisions. Support structure is non-existent.

Pros

The owners of JIS are extremely caring and spare no expense on providing the tools needed to move forward in today's technology to better support our internal and external clients. All our 4 offices are beautiful offering a great work environment for employee and visiting clients we encourage you to stop by and see for yourself! Our clients are our number 1 focus it is extremely rare to have your call answered by an auto attendant calls are answered by our client service team. Whenever possible we give back by using our clients' services. James Imaging Systems contributes thousands of dollars a year giving back to our local nonprofit organizations. The owners Tom & Lola go above and beyond to support their JIS Family by helping employees out during tough times whether it be an unexpected medical setback or accident. In my 19+ years here I am just overwhelmed by both the kindness and compassion that they have delivered to employees and have several examples if this generosity,

Cons

We have grown very quickly in many was and there are times when fast growth can be difficult to navigate the challenges effectively.
