I worked at Japan Tobacco International full-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

Good compensation package and pension as well as health insurance

    Cons

Clique-ish - you are either "in" and will advance or you sit in your position for years. Difficult to work in an industry whose products harm and even kill their customers. The organization can lack compassion.

I worked at Japan Tobacco International full-time for more than 10 years

    Pros

Used to be a great company, currently only well paid.

    Cons

Company has been internally hijacked by former Gallaher people, mostly narrow minded, incompetent but often smiling like idiots. If you have British passport, it’s a huge benefit these days to be hired or to be brought to HQ to parasitize and deliver destruction. Very few pros still work there, and those just because better than anywhere else they can get paid.

    Pros

I grew from a temp position of a Recruiter to HR Head, traveling the world. I moved 7 times and my company gave me an opportunity to explore the world, develop and become a better person. So, people development, opportunities to grow (truly) and very positive atmosphere - consistently everywhere across the world are just few of the cons.

    Cons

Some decisions may take longer to make
