Pros
Some good brands to work with and quote on your CV Some (not all) nice people to work with who are as cognisant to the shambles Jaywing has become, and can participate in gallows humour
Cons
Out of depth leadership team, largely unqualified and inexperienced to run a people led business. Cronyism is rife with incompetence ignored and rewarded. Senior roles given to people who are not up to the job and have little ability to turn around a bad situation New CEO is harmless but hapless. A long way off working out and fixing numerous problems. About to oversee second restructure within 18 months after the first restructure was botched. Experienced CEO but isnt close to delivering on what he was brought in to do - fix the broken culture, cut unnecessary waste and turn around the fortunes of an agency in a buoyant market (Covid is no longer a valid excuse) No people strategy. None. No PDPs, no progression map, no bonuses, no salary reviews, no clue. A lot of noise made about mental health, but that never translates to workload, crazy work deadlines even for an agency, and terrible communication with employees Implosion always on the horizon. The UK business is barely covering costs. Another restructure and more redundancies due Jan 22. It's a yearly occurrence.
