    Cons

    40 hour week, inflexible hours, static rota, weekend working, bare minimum holiday entitlement, working every Bank Hol. Poor employee travel concessions

    Review holiday entitlement, employee travel concessions ( look at Thomsons/ Thomas Cook)

    Jet2 was the worst place I have ever worked, I was with the company for less than 1 year and I dreaded going to work everyday. My manager didn’t speak to me, provided no training and had clear favourites in the team. I didn’t have an actual job during my time at Jet2, even though a very exciting one was discussed throughout the interview.

    I left a company that I loved to join Jet2 so I could gain new experiences and progress with my career - worst decision ever.

    I would strongly recommend avoiding this company!

    Advice to Management

    Treat your staff better.

    Pros

    the commission especially in the summer months, the crew you work with but thats all I can think of

    Cons

    Experience doesn't count at all if you are 18 years old and back for your second season with no life and work experience you will get promoted and the ones with experience from other airlines will not get a look in .
    Far too sales orientated, have to be out with the bars in 20 mins and it gets monitored through use of your on board computer. If as a senior you dont get your cleaning done in the 8 minutes you have you are questioned and you are questioned if you dont meet your 3% or 5% targets
    Hair and uniform is very old fashioned they really need to get with the times and start being more glam rather than polyester frumpiness.

    listen to your staff they are who earns your money for you

    Pay sometimes if they don't change the goal posts

    Cons

    Management are a joke no idea how to run a call centre. No one cares about staff they just run you into the ground treat you so badly an then expect you to do overtime.

    Advice to Management

    Treat staff better. Let staff do their own job an not everyone else's an then maybe they would not leave.

    Pros

    Flying hours per year are fairly low. Lots of time off in the winter. Excellent training provided. Good comparable salary to other airlines.

    Cons

    Biggest issue is no staff travel....and roster stability. However roster issues are to be expected with a massively growing business though. Staff travel really should be explored as a retention tool.

    Advice to Management

    Look after your staff and they will look after the company...

    when you have days off and dont have to be there

    Cons

    management hound you and expect you to beable to do your job take their abuse and continue to preform. Zero support management are not in anyway approachable. They go out of their way to make it harder for you.

    Advice to Management

    take a deep breath and remember weve all been there once and stop being so harsh then everyone will stop leaving.
