I have been working at JetBlue full-time for more than 10 years

    Pros

Only work 15 days a month. Schedule is administered on a monthly basis. Fly for free domestically & minimal charge for international travel. Full benefits, profit sharing & stock options at a discount. You're your own boss. No managers on trips micromanaging flight crew. Full pay for cancelled flights & deadheading flights (flying as a passenger).

    Cons

Not paid for boarding or extended delays until you legally timeout. Some long days.

    Pros

Like any FA job travel is amazing.

    Cons

Sadly the culture and values do not match up. Employees are not treated well and management cares less.

I have been working at JetBlue full-time

    Pros

What I hear is that is better than some other airlines, kind of in the middle of the pack.

    Cons

Inconsistency and confusing. Some more seasoned employees bitter and negative, making us newbies uncomfortable and confused hearing from both sides about Union.

    Advice to Management

get it together, instead on wasting so much time in training talking about the union talks, use this time to train newbies on bidding and adjusting to a new harsh life on reserve.

I have been working at JetBlue full-time for more than 10 years

    Pros

Flight benefits and that is it. There are employees that are really good at what they do, then you have your snitches that spy and watch you simply to report you because they think that by writing people up it is going got get them somewhere

    Cons

Management plays favorites, lack of honesty, management had lack of computer program knowledge, company pushes people out after a certain time by micromanaging and forcing people to resign. Human resources does not assist employees at all. If you get hurt on the job and are out for more than 3 months, the company terminates you by sending you a Fedex letter stating your termination date. Alot of people have been... going through this. It is one of the lowest paying airlines in the industry. Plus flight attendants are non union, so it becomes an at will job. They will fire you if the supervisor doesn't like you as simple as that. All those reviews you see here where they are brown nosing management are the favorites that get all the good trips and deals. Even their medical and dental benefits are the worst and the most expensive.

    Advice to Management

They need to clean house with all these supervisors that have been in the industry for less than a year, have no prior airline experience and become supervisors that quick. Inflight supervisors should have at least 3 years flying experience, and prior airline experience in order to apply for the position.

I worked at JetBlue full-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

Amazing co-workers, exciting(ish) opportunities for travel

    Cons

Inconsistent application of policies. People with powerful friends get away with murder, while others are harassed for not being "team players."

    Advice to Management

Don't promote people just for having been around a while. Conduct more thorough reviews of you middle and senior management team.
