I have been working at JetBlue (Less than a year)

    Pros

Travel benefits Great cohort Beautiful office Educational workshops

    Cons

Employees aren't too friendly with interns Little work is given Opportunities for full-time are slim to none Teams seem to be very cliquey

    Advice to Management

When investing so much into interns, there should be opportunity for full-time. There's a lot of times when HR simply ghosts past interns and doesn't respond to emails.

I have been working at JetBlue part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Great culture, the people are amazing and fun to work with, travel is a common interest for most of the team, work load is manageable and interesting, it's 100% OPPOSITE of getting coffee for your boss type of internship, you learn a lot about the travel industry if you haven't been involved before, everyone at the company is nice and open to talking to you, they give you the option to shadow other departments incase...

    Cons

Because it's a large company, it can take a while to get things approved but it always gets done

    Advice to Management

    Leadership is great!

I have been working at JetBlue full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Free flights and great culture. Get well rounded perspective on the business.

    Cons

Pay is ok. Just barely competes with industry standards. But free flights makes it worth it. And the culture is great.

    Advice to Management

    More growth opportunity.

I have been working at JetBlue (Less than a year)

    Pros

Great environment and you gain a lot of experience. It is fast pace so you need to be ready and willing to jump in. You'll meet a lot of people who care and are genuinly interested and care for you.

    Cons

As an intern, sometimes its hard to feel that your leadership is approachable. It honestly depends on the personality of who your higher-up is.

    Advice to Management

Even if you know that your intern wont be staying, be well connected with them. An internship is meant to guide and gain experience for the intern, not just dump work on them and see how they approach the situation.
