Pros

I was the only male working within a team of women and was made to feel at complete ease. My managers were very professional and we had an excellent rapport. Everyone on the team were genuine and supportive. THE BEST JOB I'VE HAD TO DATE! Always smell good, excellent discount across the Lauder products. Training courses were all excellent and very thorough. Working at Jo Malone has set me up for a career working within luxury retail. If you get the opportunity to work for this brand I highly recommend!

Cons

Long days and constantly on your feet. Christmas period is on a different level to any other retailer, it was madness! Progression to higher roles was non existent unless you are in the London stores. No commission on products i worked hard to sell and annoyed me that I could smash my quarterly target by 3k and would receive a team bonus dictated by my 6 hour contract.

1. Too much pressure on sales but no commission even during peak time. 2. Procedures are complicated and hard to communicate with managers who are not flexible. 3. Managers keep saying negative feedback without providing support. 4. Long hours.
