    Pros

Progression opportunity CAD training was encouraged Decent company culture Clear focus for great customer service Worked with lots of great people.

    Cons

Like any retailer resources are becoming more limited. Lack of senior management Pay is not in line with competitors. Culture can be slow and slightly outdated when trying to achieve results. Many employees can get away with lack of effort/drive to succeed. Long term partners can become resistant to change.

    Advice to Management

Gain advice from partners before making a re-structure.. learn from Core Home Services

I worked at John Lewis & Partners full-time for less than a year

    Pros

John Lewis are one of the best companies to work for in the UK and that is evident from the get go. The support for new starters is fantastic and you never feel alone. The company comms are fantastic and you always feel like you're part of something really exciting thats about to happen.

    Cons

Unfortunately, being a retail company, there are a lot of things wrong with the way that IT has been set up. As a school leaver, with little IT experience there was a lack of training and hence a lack of work - they didn't know what work to give me and so I spent little time doing my actual day to day job.
