"Awful"
Doesn't RecommendNegative OutlookDisapproves of CEOI worked at Johnston Press full-time for less than a year
Pros
Colleagues were nice and met some nice people
Cons
Just awful, impossible targets imported from years gone by, divide between acquisitions and retentions meaning you could never fully own your territory, crap training which meant new rolled out digital products were difficult to understand, therefore difficult to sell. Used to regularly have panic attacks and be in floods of tears. Whole sales teams put on PIPs etc just awful

Doesn't RecommendI worked at Johnston Press full-time for more than 10 years
Pros
Journalism was all I ever wanted to do. I loved my work - until the cost-cutting began. No one day the same, always interesting and `never dull.
Cons
Cost-cutting management has ripped the heart out of Johnston Press. Round after round of redundancies left staff over-worked, demoralised and in fear of their future.
