    I have been working at KLM part-time for more than 10 years

    Pros

    Staff travel, can go to KLM long haul after 5 years in the company, good Sadlery and benefits, lots of varied nightstop destinations

    Cons

    Multi sector days 5 days away at a time, different hotel every night, packing and unpacking suitcase daily, only 2 cabin crew per aircraft

    I have been working at KLM full-time for more than 10 years

    Pros

    Lots of interesting challenges, big projects, interesting technological and managerial challenges. Drive to excel.

    Cons

    Way too many power games at the top, by both AF and KL managers. Too centrally managed causing slow innovation.

    Advice to Management

    Move from centralized to federated model and put control way lower in the organization in order to stimulate entrepeneurship.

    I have been working at KLM full-time for more than 8 years

    Pros

    Good company CEO, local management not that great.

    Cons

    Bad increment, high turnover for new staff, Air france constantly going on strike, which hurts our remuneration package for the year.

    Advice to Management

    Group management, please try to prevent the strikes. Are strikes some kind of benefit that I am not aware off?

    I have been working at KLM full-time for less than a year

    Pros

    Only one: you get discounted flights after 6 months of working.

    Cons

    Company feels like it's still in the 80's. They do a lot of manual work pen and paper. The teams are very disorganised, and for data scientists the work is not great. Quality of data is poor, there is not much room for machine learning applications, it's mostly analysing (poor quality) data and showing plots to stakeholders.
