Pros

Covered parking Proximity to a sports bar Favorable building location Office is as quiet as a mausoleum Someone occasionally brings donuts to work

Cons

No management feedback... of any type Promised bonuses are not paid or are less than stated. Management refuses employee training to save money, yet releases employees for not knowing their duties. Benefits are in line with 1982. Management avoids employees as much as possible and never socializes with them (no team outings, happy hours, etc) Vacation is far below industry standard and sick days (limit: 5) are parceled out with reluctance. Upcoming family management that will soon take over the company is arrogant, dim, poorly educated, and indifferent to employees. Employees are treated like office supplies and are just as expendable. Resignations are greeted with a yawn. A heavy, sad atmosphere permeates the work environment. The company is extremely risk-averse in its organic exploration and is reluctant or unable to lease promising acreage yet is contemplating huge external acquisitions that are highly exotic and speculative. Management is highly suspicious of employees’ motives and activities, even toward their most experienced, loyal, and competent workers.

Pros

Gained needed experience out of college. Would never work here full time.

Cons

Everything. Awful pay, awful management, backward attitude.
