Very good resources, courses, and support. You will be surround by people ready to provide help when needed. Very flexible working hours to accommodate personal circumstances (remote working, late start/finish).
Short research associate contracts, usually 2 years. Not a great deal of team activities (to be fair this depend on supervisor).

Very well connected with other universities with a lot of collaborative research programs. Excellent research facilities, state of the art equipment and easy access to cutting edge experimental methodologies
Campuses quite far from each other, the salary is relatively low for the amount of work that needs to be put in

Great place where to do research and grow up. Tons of opportunities offered.
It is a huge university so you can get a bit lost sometimes.

It is a world wide recognised University with a Good international Ranking in Research Science, Educatio. Good environment in general and locate in several campus across London.
Campus are not well connected between themselves. Little information for new workers and you have to look for it in an inmense website. Allowance does not increase since 2008 and minimal internal promotion for Post-Docs
