I have been working at King's College London as a contractor (More than a year)

    Pros

KCL provide a caring and supportive atmosphere and development opportunities are regular. Benefits and pay are fair. Feels like being part of a family.

    Cons

Some of the smaller, non central departments feel left out in regards to the KCL 'community'. For example, being left out of some events.

    Doesn't Recommend
    Negative Outlook
    No opinion of CEO

    Pros

Flexible hours, access to resources, location

    Cons

The amount of politics at the institute of psychiatry is beyond unbearable.
Too hierarchical (some animals are more equal than others).
    Salary is not good.
Nobody really cares about staff complaints.

    Advice to Management

Create a nonhierarchical, transparent, honest culture.
Listen to real staff, not just managers or supervisors.
