    The rota is not fair must work one weekend

    Advice to Management

    I think you guys should try and consider to recruit weekend staffs who wants to work weekends only. And have stuff's that do weekdays only.

    Stable employment. you could work straight up to retirement if you kept fit.

    Cons

    it is very hard to move up from support services to another role within kings.

    Help the people that make you look great on paper. Invest in people. Develop and encourage in- house.

    Good library, career development and training resources. Good lab facilities and office spaces

    Not always but some supervisors do not properly support their students

    Invest on training supervisors and making sure they are fit to advise students, not always a very knlowledgeable person knows how to transmit that knowledge or how to guide a student

    Not really, except there is organisation bureaucracy which you have to work within, but that is expected with an institution of this size

    Some fantastic opportunities, some great staff, an institution that is starting to move in the right direction after years of underinvestment

    Cons

    Some institutionalised staff who can't move forward, no performance management to encourage progression by merit or movement out for underperformance. Institutional knowledge to widely relied upon and merited.
