I worked at Knight Frank full-time for less than a year

    Pros

Great company benefits such as season ticket loan, pension scheme and gym membership. Good social events such as Day of Giving.

    Cons

The company does have a perception of being snobby and rude. Senior management do not value staff, especially employees at lower and entry level. It can be an intimidating and unwelcoming atmosphere to work in. There is also a very high turnover at the business.

    Advice to Management

There needs to be training focusing on cultural awareness. Senior management need to value staff better. Skills specific training for certain roles also needs to be mandatory, to encourage more people to register.

I worked at Knight Frank full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

HQ and offices are based in central and good locations Good L&D training facilities based off site Known and respected brand name

    Cons

Senior team expect you always agree with them, tell them they're right, and feel they're above the rules. They expect everyone else to be perfect while they can meet lower standards. High staff turnover It is well known that certain teams are unhappy; nobody talks about it openly Unrealistic workloads and workaholic behavior that sacrifices a healthy work/life balance can be the norm in some teams

    Advice to Management

Treat employees as adults and understand that happy people are the key to company succcess.

"NEVER WORK AT THE ALDGATE BRANCH!"

    Doesn't Recommend

I worked at Knight Frank full-time for less than a year

    Pros

    I can’t think of any.

    Cons

High pressure sales, bullying culture, when issues are raised conversations conveniently forgotten, working at that branch was the most horrendous time of my working life! Never understood the success of the branch as I always found them when speaking to customers and spoke about them after they walk out of the door.

    Advice to Management

3 people have worked and left at that branch in under 18 months and yet when issues are raised you are simply not listening - you should be asking yourselves “why the quick turn around of staff” HR simply go through the motions but protect the Company not the individual. Normally a strong confident person I suddenly became a someone who dreaded going into work in the morning. NEVER WORK HERE!!!!!
