I have been working at Knight Frank full-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

I met some lovely people, but they have all left. These are people who were an asset to the company but were sadly not treated very well.

    Cons

A deeply unpleasant environment to work in. If you are a woman, be prepared to experience sexism, less pay for equal work, very little support if you are a working mother (unless you fight for it - expect pushback!) & no career progression even if you’ve outperformed male counterparts. This is just to name a few things! They promise you the world at interview stage, but this is definitely forgotten about as soon as... you sign your contract & join! No team spirit whatsoever, management are dishonest, biased & do not encourage camaraderie. Instead they pitch people against eachother, which creates a hostile & stressful office. Management are bullies. Even really senior proprietary partners are actively behaving in this way. I truly believe my mental & physical health has been affected by this company. If you value your health, self worth, integrity & ethics, please think twice about joining. This is not the place for you!

    Advice to Management

Stop lying, stop the favouritism, reward excellence & practice CX121 rather than just preach it!

    Cons

Disgusting workplace Bullying behaviour Condones wrongful HR decisions Incompetent management People in positions they aren't capable of because they know someone in the company or have been there since the start (time to shake it up - your ways are prehistoric). HUGE turnover, cannot retain staff due to their awful culture No training

    Advice to Management

    Advice to Management

Senior management and HR need to wake up and actually support the staff especially if people have mental health problems. Not just send them to occupational health. Invest in your people not just say you do with projects like CX121 Look at employing a more diverse group of people and do more events to recognise this not just one summer party where senior management just come and show their face for a photo. ... There was no pride party, nothing to celebrate black history month etc. Furthermore, hire someone to focus on diversity and inclusion you have over 15,000 people in this business. More flexibility around working remotely after all we are given laptops and phones.

I worked at Knight Frank full-time

    Pros

International company, main office in Baker Street is quite nice.

    Cons

Had a miserable time at knight frank. It is clear that administrators get treated really badly little training and really snobby snooty environment to work in. Avoid!

    Advice to Management

Offer more training and support for new starters. Care more about the well being of staff especially ones that are new. I witnessed some ostracising of staff in various branches.

I worked at Knight Frank full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

More opportunity than you would think to create both ambitious and beautiful work that sets the firm apart from its competitors. The top tier of management is open to new ideas and approaches. I found it to be an environment where, if you could sell your idea, the firm would fund it. I had a great time there and would go back in a heartbeat.

    Cons

The partnership structure can be a bit difficult to navigate, but once you demonstrate that you can actually add something it gets a lot easier.

    Advice to Management

Maintain your focus on quality people.
