Pros

If you're reading this and thinking of applying at Laline. Please don't. There are no pros of working here. Just find employment elsewhere if you love yourself. Be ready to work over and beyond the duties of your job description because they love saving labor. Extremely cheap. If you're someone who's a workaholic, thrives in toxic environment, enjoys getting passive aggressive comments from district manager you will really enjoy this workplace.

Cons

- They treat you like a slave, no professional way of conducting business. -No disconnect from work policy. -The new District Manager is horrible and a classic narcissist making mean remarks about people's appearances, gossiping, playing politics and at the end throwing you under the bus to save his own job and impress his bosses. -They will make you quit once you start raising your concerns. -Bonus structure is extremely cheap, with Managers making only 1% and asm making 0.5% if monthly goal is met which by the way is so high and unattainable on purpose so they don't have to give you your bonus. -Sales associates earn almost next to nothing in commission with constant reduced hours. Most of the sales associate get only 10-15hrs per week. -Highly toxic and unprofessional company especially the upper level management. -You will constantly see new faces at workplace because this company cannot retain its employees due to unfair practices.

Pros

Nice about days off even with short notice

Cons

Terrible management and I hope they've changed. Very sales based retail job and everything is about numbers. In fact, even the hours you get is based on sales and it was not advertised to me during the job interview bc all the employees wanted to run away and hired me on a whim.

Pros

Easy to get hired because they mostly hire international students or people who don’t know their worth and their rights. They’ll teach you how to work under pressure, handling everything by yourself and lie to customers to close sales.

Cons

Everything is wrong with this company. People keep quitting after a short period of time, even the new DM quit after several months. They have zero respect and care for their employees. They treat people like trash and expect them to go above and beyond. The bonus is already small and now they make the goals so high that it’s impossible to reach so they don’t have to pay for employees bonuses. They do not have any safety protocols to make sure their staffs are safe. If the sales are good they assume it is your responsibility and if the sales are bad, they blame the store managers and the sale associates for not being pushy enough. It’s actually because their promotions are getting lame and their products are not that great. When the store is short staffed, they make you work long hours on your own without the help of other coworkers since they do not give enough budget hours. The upper management here are so narcissistic and never admit their lack of competence and rarely listen to constructive advices from their employees. The HR will sit down with you and ask for your reasons of resignation and they take it very personally if you show any sign of dissatisfaction with the company.
