Door to door sales! Do not recommend to anyone

Pros

None. I have no pros to this company except for the little dog. The location of the office they are based out of it is okay too

Cons

This company makes their own reviews. You just drive parking lot to parking lot asking businesses about their office supplies. Absolutely terrible place to work.

Thank you for the review. What we do is Business to Business sales for our client which is not Door to Door residential sales. The purpose of our interview process is to show you what we do before we hire you on so you have a better understanding of your responsibilities. If we weren't clear we apologize for it but we do appreciate your review and feedback.

Long hours, good people, not great pay

Pros

I really liked the CEO, very down to earth and understanding. Was willing to help whenever you needed it. Everyone there is willing to help you grow, and pushed you to do your best.

Cons

Long hours, almost 12 hours a day. Walking door to door trying to sell office supplies wasn't too fun, especially in the August heat. Commission structure is very confusing, I left since I wasn't making nearly as much as I thought I would be.

Thank you for the review! We work hard as a team and it can be challenging doing Business to Business Sales. We appreciate any feedback as it will help us develop and be better.

Pros

A small percentage makes a good living from this job.

Cons

They aren’t upfront. They make it look to be the most appealing job but come to find out - it’s just going down different strip centers, business to business, begging them to buy the company’s product. You are forced to be too pushy and it is honestly uncomfortable.

Thank you for your response. I'm sorry that you feel like you were misrepresented in the interview, but we are very clear and have a 3 step interview process. I actually know who this is but i am not able to put your name on here. 1. When you are hired we go through the new hire paper work and you go through 5 full days of training. On day one you get to see exactly what we do first hand before you even get to do any of the sales yourself. So if this was not a good fit, and were misrepresented you would have quit after the first day. But you were here 1 week and 2 days. 2. We do go business to business so yes you are correct and yes some of the businesses are located in strip centers, why would we not go to an insurance company or tax office if it was a business. That would be a prejudgment if a business would be able to benefit from our services. 3. Our client is staples and we offer office supplies that they already buy for 30% of a lower price. The only way would feel like you are being pushy is if you come off salesy trying to make the sale instead of trying to help the customer save money and solve a problem. --- The number one known fact about sales is people buy from people. So if you are not good at the sale is because there is an area of opportunity for you to work on building more of a relationship with the customer instead of trying to make a transaction. Which unfortunately most people that have never done sales before do. Focus on the person and helping the company then the sale happens. Not the other way around. 3. If you have never done sales before it takes time to learn it. It doesnt happen in a week or 2 weeks. If you wanted to learn how to play the piano and have never played it you must practice and actually try to get better instead of quitting when an obstacle occurs. 4. The fact that you say that only a "small percentage " of people make a good living off this job is incorrect. How would you know how much someone would make especially since you were only here for less than 2 weeks. Thank you for your time here. With your next position i would give you the recommendation to at least give it a month and not let early discouragement win. Good luck with your future endeavors and we wish you nothing but the best!
