    Pros

Fun and caring, always thinking of staff and being told to always place service over everything else, makes your work enjoyable.

    Cons

There are not lots of areas to move to once you develop to manager. I struggled to get to manager as the team never move.

    Advice to Management

Try and develop a higher organisation outside of London.

I worked at Lego Group full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Nice, bright and clean work place.

    Cons

Very far from the city. They have some team members which is very sneaky.

    Advice to Management

They should just care about the LEGO not their personal EGO.

I have been working at Lego Group full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

The pay is decent, above minimum wage.
You get some really lovely customers upon occasion.
Discount is good, if you're into that kind of thing.

    Cons

Online training is unnecessarily long and pointless.
    Very clique-y.
Parents don't control their children and you end up feeling like a childminder. Parents left their kids in store for HOURS without supervision.
Say they promote individuality etc, but you don't get to express your own personality as a staff member.
Ridiculous policies and scripts to follow.
Awkward tension at all times between staff.
My manager in particular was really offensive and rude.

    Advice to Management

Don't look down on people. Let people play to their strengths.

I worked at Lego Group part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

    - Good atmosphere to work in.
    - Working there will help you come out of your shell if you're a shy person.
    - You get proper training on how to be customer focused.
    - You get to play with Lego all day everyday.
    - Work days can be really good if you're with the right people.

    Cons

    - The pay isn't worth the amount of work that is expected of you, especially that your work and efforts are not really recognised.
    - Excessively increased hours even if you only intended to work part time so your work life balance can get thrown off.

    Advice to Management

Put people where they are their strongest e.g if people are good at being on the shop floor, don't keep putting them at the back to do deliveries and vice versa.

I have been working at Lego Group full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Good salary, good bonus, office is really nice. There has been a lot of new people so the company is feeling fresh and new

    Cons

It very Danish! Sometimes it feel like a Danish club. But it's slowly getting better. Expanding very quickly, not sure if the company is keeping up

I worked at Lego Group full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Great place to work, I never grew up with Lego so wasn't biased, but I loved the culture there. Inclusive, strong in developing its people- open to letting you move across teams and everyone supports you in doing so.

    Cons

The continual restructures could make for instability and a bit of tension with people not knowing where they'd be or if they'd have a role in 12 month's time.

    Advice to Management

Keep looking after your people and investing in them and you'll retain good talent and find it easier to attract new talent- word of mouth is an extremely useful tool in marketing your brand!

I have been working at Lego Group full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Company is doing well and generally looks after people. Strong brand. Lots of travels though it can be too much after a while.

    Cons

Most meetings are disorganised. Mainly creating discussions but no decisions. Lack of walk the walk and lead by example leaders. The brand is generally amazing but the management(especially those managers have been in the company for years) is shockingly bad. Also there is a very strong back stabbing culture.

    Advice to Management

I just wish I never made that decision working for LEGO.
NPS works however the downside of it is that we created a very "superficial" organisation. Management generally cares about their personal reputation for the next move. Some top managers are also known for humiliating junior members in big meetings.

    Pros

Amazing company to work for, good work life balance, lots of perks, reputable brand, working with a highly motivated team, large company but still somehow has managed to retain the family feel to it.

    Cons

Some parts are still like a start up, other parts there are processes for the sake of processes, also meeting culture can be annoying.

    Advice to Management

Remove red tape and meetings but a great company to work for, management team are approachable which is good.
