I worked at Lehman Brothers International (Europe) as an intern (Less than a year)

    Pros

Relaxed work environment, good Canary Wharf setting, opportunity to see the most complex company in administration and unwinding process

    Cons

In administration so no future prospects, staff can get made redundant at relatively short notice, no canteen, commuting to Canary Wharf is hell in summer

    Pros

Ability to move around internally. Great support from management.

    Cons

Pay was not reviewed regularly enough. Also pay was not true reflection of numbers of hours actually worked.

    Pros

Very good culture in terms of getting things done effectively, and promotes out of the box thinking, keeping the employees always on the toes

    Cons

Some people might tend to feel left behind give the pace of the culture. Probably can improve on mobility for employees as well.

    Advice to Management

Would have been better if top manament had different incentive scheme to promote long term profits rather than yearly profits.
