      People don’t leave bad jobs, they leave bad management. In this case- both

      The building- that is it.

      I think all the recent reviews speak for themselves. By a wide margin, this is the worst place I have ever worked. It wasn’t always toxic, but ever since the owner passed away and his wife took over, the decline has been staggering. Shaffiq, the CEO, is bad news. He’s running the company straight into the ground. He has no idea what he’s doing, hires people who are wildly underqualified, and then wonders why nothing gets done right. Dysfunction starts at the top and infects everything below it. The culture is fueled by fear and instability. People are constantly anxious about losing their jobs. And HR? Completely useless. They’re just there to collect a paycheck and look the other way. Avoid this place at all costs.

      Account Manager

      Pros

      Full autonomy. Decent pay. Nice office space.

      Cons

      Terrible training, no onboarding, no on the job SOP's. Figure it out yourself mentality. No accountability from any levels, blaming and finger pointing culture in all departments. Unqualified people in every step of the ladder. Use of language that is not appropriate for a workplace. All activities and company events are organized for/around one specific (majority) race.

      Great team... chaotic atmosphere

      Pros

      My direct report was fantastic and led our team with efficiency and clear planning. There was decent recognition for excellent work.

      Cons

      Lack of clear strategy from leadership. Dismissal of ideas for improvement and efficiency. A clear game of favorites being played with other voices being ignored. A lack of enabling individuals or teams to succeed in their areas of expertise.
