Pros

1. Good clientele 2. Work from home

Cons

1. The company's primary income stems from wage theft. They frequently delay salaries with vague excuses, deny promised appraisals and bonuses outlined in contracts, and refuse to pay full and final settlements upon resignation. 2. Employees are expected to work 14 to 16 hours daily and be on call 24/7, disregarding personal time, weekends, and emergencies. Apparently, without one particular employee being available at 3 AM, the company risks losing an imaginary multimillion-dollar deal. 3. Older leadership resorts to manipulative tactics to retain frustrated employees, creating further dissatisfaction. For example, new hires must purchase their own laptops, which are reimbursed only after staying for a set period. Yearly bonuses can be delayed for up to 10 months after their due date, effectively trapping employees until they receive their earned compensation. 4. The company frequently changes the criteria for appraisals and bonuses based on whatever minimizes their expenses. Promised bonuses depend on shifting factors like performance, company revenue, and new leadership reviews, leaving employees uncertain and often unpaid until the end of the following year. 5. Every task assigned to engineers is labeled as the highest priority, creating a chaotic work environment. Leadership often misaligns, resulting in conflicting requirements from different managers, and engineers are blamed if outcomes don’t meet the expectations of senior staff. 6. Employees are often given verbal assurances and nominal promotions to keep morale up, only for leadership to later adjust the criteria or backtrack on these commitments when the time comes for fulfillment. 7. No one feels empowered to question or even communicate with the CEO or CTO, who are portrayed as untouchable by senior management. This creates an environment where dissent is discouraged and fear of repercussions prevails. 8. The company lacks a dedicated admin, payroll, or HR team, so employee queries, grievances, and feedback are rarely addressed because everyone is "busy".

Pros

Solid group of colleagues at the individual contributor and manager level. Good healthcare benefits.

Cons

Leadership team creates a toxic environment that hugely impedes productivity. Seriously, 4-hour meetings that wander aimlessly and typically accomplishing nothing. Team members frequently singled out and ridiculed repeatedly during team meetings. It's exhausting and not at all worth the effort. Tech jobs are still hard to come by in 2025, so proceed if you must with Lineaje. But, there other startups out there with skilled leadership that knows how foster a healthy and productive work environment.
