    Poor

    Pros

The curriculum team actually seems passionate about education and creating a syllabus that works for students. They still slog and work hard, but it’s refreshing to see the focus on students.

    Cons

Roles and responsibilities not clearly defined. Team members are given responsibilities outside of their area of expertise and what they were hired for, and berated for not being able to perform well. Manager does not listen to advice and opinions. When given reasons why something cannot work, the response tends to be: ‘try harder’, or ‘stop saying it cannot work. We need to do this, keep trying until it works.’ Employees are expected to always respond to work messages outside of working hours and weekends. The rationale given is: if you’re really passionate about growing the company, you’ll naturally dedicate time for it.

    Pros

The company is growing rapidly and moving at an amazing pace. It is an exciting place to work. People are mostly friendly and nice to work with. A place where they allow us to own and run initiatives (ofc to be backed up data and clear objectives). You can see that everyone is trying hard to build and grow this business together. Ownership and hardwork is important for you to do well in your role. Harmonious work culture Working with super smart people, data driven and efficient, easy to work with Good employee benefits - learning funds and flexi cash benefits. Company is going through changes to instill better work cultures, and developing a open working culture where the best idea wins.

    Cons

Working with ambiguities. People in less "visible" roles can feel underappreciated at times. Very fast paced (can be both enjoyable and challenging but also can be scary/stressful if you are not able to think fast and match up to business pace)

Company is generous 1. Hire many redundant roles 2. Or make roles redundant (while keeping them)
