I have been working at Lloyds Banking Group full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Great pay and benefits. There is also plenty of learning and development workshops. The exposure to senior leaders and opportunities to use the “grad card” are very insightful.

    Cons

Compulsory movement of placements (throughout the UK) in the graduate scheme can be expensive and a hassle. Short length of placements make it difficult to realistically get a better than average performance rating, particularly as a great deal of your time is dedicated to a professional qualification. There is also an inconsistent approach to the expectations of a graduate from line managers, cohort leads and others within LBG.

    Advice to Management

Put LBG’s values into action and be a good example of what aspiring leaders should seek to be, even if it goes against “the norm”.
