I worked at Lloyds Banking Group (More than a year)

    Pros

Good pay and advancement, supportive staff and other contractors. Very little else to say really... a lot of support in training and you were left to get on with work and not patronised or micro managed.

    Cons

Long hours, stressful, high targets, could get fired very quickly - I've seen it done in ten minutes from being called from desk to out the door.

I have been working at Lloyds Banking Group full-time

    Pros

Genuine focus on creating an inclusive and diverse workforce, people are mostly friendly
Not too hierarchical for a large bank
Relatively free to move within areas
    Work life balance

    Cons

A bit too slow, perhaps more suitable for people who prioritise stability over fast progress
Lack of competency from some of the staff

    Advice to Management

Try not to value extroversion so much
