Negative OutlookDisapproves of CEOI worked at LloydsPharmacy full-time for more than a year
Pros
Parking on site Canteen on site Company laptop and mobile phone provided Casual dress code
Cons
Its no secred that Lloyds Pharmacy (part of the Mckesson Group) are only taking losses and have been on the decline for several years. Hence back to back redundancys The last 2 years we have seen redundancy take place, not only senior leaders but also junior to mid level roles have been lost and good employees removed from the business. LloydsPharmacy in coventry head office is a nightmare that i and many others are happy to have moved on from. Dont be fooled by the lies, resourcing in HR are clueless and have no idea what they are doing. Its about who you are freinds with, your hard work and talent goes unoticed. Heavily micro management and misleading career progression is sold to you at interview / offer stage. In resourcing everyone is on different salaries, gaps of £20,000 plus. Someone could be sitting there on £23,000 and another in the same role earning £40,000 Head of resourcing needs to be removed and someone with integrity, experience and some class needs to be appointed for anything to change. But as the brand and reputation is so poor may be to late to change. Favourtism has seen resourcing lose its very best recruiters over the last 18 months and this has been down to poor management and leadership. Joining resourcing is an in house role but the culture, targets and atmospher is no different from a disgusting agency recruitment environment. Take my advice and stay away. The new restructure and new roles created will sound attractive but the managers and the stakeholders will be the same. Pharmacy recruitment is dead and so is the brand “LLOYDS PHARMACY” .

Pros
The company will offer career progression for the right person.
Cons
Year after year of restructuring has left the company with little or no long term loyalty from it's network colleagues. Company values not lived and breathed.

Pros
job is never boring in pharmacy.
Cons
continual staff cuts has increased burden on existing staff, this has led to poorer customer service who often take their customer elsewhere.
