A wonderful way of beginning a new career

A large number of experienced people all looking to enhance the primary mission of the contractor customer. This, coupled with the highly mobile and deployable nature of the mission leads to a great number of experiences both within the US and across the world. In other words, there are great people teaching new folks the ins and outs of a very essential piece of our national security. This, coupled with the deployable nature of the job leads to some incredible adventures.
Cons
It is remote. It doesn't matter if you are in any number of bases across the country. Many of these sites are remote. It requires a lot of patience. Security clearances, training opportunities, and routine functions do get boring. The pay off for these things is deployment though. But even that still takes some time.
