    Longview ISD pays some of the highest salary options for educators in the East Texas area.

    Cons

    Longview ISD requires teachers to implement different instructional programs with minimal direction or time for effective data to be collected about the progress of the new programs.

    Pros

    Able to attend training for Continuing Education.

    Cons

    Very racist district. The Superintendent and school board need to be replaced. All administrators go to the same church and are selected by race. Not qualifications. No discipline. No truancy officers. Teachers are not supported by the district.
