Evolving Fintech, Clear Boundaries

Pros

I've been with LOYALTEK for a month, and have entered as they are undergoing a major restructure and resolving the issues previous employees have mentioned. In my opinion, this is an evolving workplace that stumbled during the scale-up, but has done the most important thing - isolated what caused the issues and are actively working to make positive changes. Unlike previous jobs, I have a very clear role and guidance from my direct managers. The team is full of enthusiastic, passionate people with healthy boundaries. I strongly believe that LOYALTEK is on its way to being one of the top Fintech employers in Belgium.

Cons

LOYALTEK is still developing its new corporate structure as of April 2021, so being employed by LOYALTEK means being part of the growth process.

NPD warning!

Pros

Small company, competitive salary, short recruitment process.

Cons

There is another description of the very same position in the very same team on Glassdoor. When I first saw it I thought "oh, well - just some angry rant of someone that got fired and wanted to smear the company". Unfortunately I pretty quickly discovered the description was right on target, apart maybe from the cause, which is unfortunately much more serious. One of the young team mates is obviously a severe case of NPD. Being brilliantly manipulative he has not only wrapped the team lead around his finger, but also (it seems) the higher management. Since he is a valuable team member, don't expect the situation to change anytime soon. I'd advise anyone to stay away, at least from this team.
