Pros
MAG treats its employees very well, there are a bunch of perks that have persisted even during times when the industry is struggling. There is no toxic crunch culture, people can be open about mistakes without judgement, and colleagues are really lovely. The company is run by people who genuinely do seem to want what's best for people, even if they're not always able to execute on it.
Cons
Mobile games aren't for everyone, and often it feels like creative decisions have no weight next to performance graphs. Just the nature of the business. Pay is fine but not amazing. The flat hierarchy makes career progression difficult. Things have slowed down a lot since the pandemic.
