Pros

An opportunity for self learning and building your knowledge/Experience

Cons

- Toxic environment, politics in everything, in Amman office the HR is so bad and they even told me that it was worst (biased, playing politic, and very rude) - Few number in the office have unexplained privileges though they are simply a joke, for example but not limited to, QA and Devops managements

Cons

No workplace out there is perfect but MBC (especially Jordan office led by executives from Dubai) is a prime example of a very bad one. Corruption Lobbyism Lack of work values Lack of quality No organizational long-term goals & KPIs No clear development plan Pervasive lying culture Reactive work culture No accountability Favoritism The points above are just a very brief summary of what you can expect in this organization, you will find a manager going around the office giving "pills" to employees to keep them awake, you will find managers taking advantage of their employees to do freelance work during work hours and even inside the offices, departments completely reliant on very few capable seniors and have very poor management, incompetent leadership across many levels that lack the sense of professionalism, ethics and worst of all technical knowledge, half-baked solutions all over the time, the primary goal is to make the executives and some managers look good in-front of the stakeholders regardless of the quality, cost, employees work-life balance, no clear criteria for career progression & development, (Yes People) all over the place, forcing solutions developed in a state that won't be mentioned and forced on employees, no real long term strategies, silence the frustration of the employees by spending huge amount of money and giving everyone raises & promotions regardless they're worth it or not with no clear criteria beyond just buy some time, huge amount of money wasted on failed projects and operational costs. There's a good reason that number of resignations are very high and why it has a very bad reputation among the engineers in Jordan. If you're looking for a quick win and then it is worth it but if you're looking for long-term career in a respectable workplace run by true professionals then this is not the right place for you.
