    Pros

    Paid time off Work from home potential Friendly and Knowledgeable Supervisor Flexible working hours (anywhere from 5:30am-10:00am available to start your day—also can flex time to have 4x 9 hour days and 1x 4 hour day)

    Cons

    Constant Mandatory Overtime. Incompetent interim leadership Unqualified staff being placed into Leadership roles over qualified individuals due to favoritism by leadership over Hiring Manager. The training needs replaced/updated. Staff was correcting the trainer in the classroom—this goes along with putting unqualified staff in roles over qualified individuals as well. Low pay. Terrible benefits.... Leadership/The company says they want you to advance within the company, but offer nothing as far as advancing your knowledge to grow within the team, department, or company. Processors are left to feel that they are only a button pusher for 50+ hours a week, nothing more.

    Advice to Management

    Pay attention to your staffs needs, morale is extremely low. Pay your employees a more reasonable rate. If staff asks a question, the team leaders should offer a more detailed answer to their question, instead of simply telling them “do this”. Hire leadership for your Claims department or at least select interim leadership that is competent and knows how the department runs and can assist the staff within the... department. Don’t allow favoritism to cloud who would be the best fit for a leadership role, a hiring manager should have the final say on who will be selected for the role they are hiring for.

    laid back, non stressful atmosphere flexible scheduling in my department management is nice and understanding a lot of PTO time

    Cons

    was told i could advance/move around easily, never happened was promised the opportunity to work from home, never happened throw you in to a project with little training

    work from home available. flexible start times

    bare bones staffing does not allow for more than one person in a unit to have the same days off.

    Advice to Management

    more understanding and empathy to their employees. better understanding of the total staff pto needs to be managed better as allowing only 1 person pto does not allow all employees to get in pto.
