I have been working at Magellan Health full-time for more than 10 years

    Pros

Paid time off Work from home potential Friendly and Knowledgeable Supervisor Flexible working hours (anywhere from 5:30am-10:00am available to start your day—also can flex time to have 4x 9 hour days and 1x 4 hour day)

    Cons

Constant Mandatory Overtime. Incompetent interim leadership Unqualified staff being placed into Leadership roles over qualified individuals due to favoritism by leadership over Hiring Manager. The training needs replaced/updated. Staff was correcting the trainer in the classroom—this goes along with putting unqualified staff in roles over qualified individuals as well. Low pay. Terrible benefits. Leadership/The company says they want you to advance within the company, but offer nothing as far as advancing your knowledge to grow within the team, department, or company. Processors are left to feel that they are only a button pusher for 50+ hours a week, nothing more.
