    Pros

    work from home, great work/life balance, great experience personally with my manager, feels like leadership really cares about their employees, great PTO, quarterly bonuses

    Cons

    the medical benefits weren't the best (high deductible plans), you have to be flexible because requirements can always change (i don't necessarily see that as a con, but others may).

    I worked at Magellan Health full-time for more than a year

    Pros

    Flexible schedules. Free lunches sometimes. Slower call volume outside of peak season. Food trucks.

    Cons

    Pay could’ve been better. If you have a strong work ethic, they will put more responsibility on you without more compensation while others get by with putting in minimal effort, making just as much if not more than you. Some departments are open on holidays. Internal systems should be more sophisticated.

    I have been working at Magellan Health full-time for less than a year

    Pros

    As far as I'm concerned, there are no pro's to this job except for getting paid for doing a useless repetitive job. The job is easy and boring.

    Cons

    They are always understaffed and fill the employees heads with pipe dreams there. Acting like they will get and be the best of the best and no matter what you do, you still dont compare or match up. They make sure that you stay in your place at the bottom of the ladder and no room for advancement. I come from many great jobs and have never been treated like this before. Most places it matters what experience that you have and can bring to the table but at Magellan, they want you to start at ground level and try to work your way up. And most of the time you never get there. They pick at everything you do. As far as attendance goes, dont ever get sick because they will hold that against you till the day you die and most likely you will die in your chair because they make you come to work sick anyway. There is no pleasing the people at Magellan

    Pros

    Great benefits. Caring, supportive coworkers. Ability to work holidays and afterhours shifts for additional income.

    Cons

    Unrealistic expectations regarding time to handle calls. Employees are penalized if they are unable to make it into the office during severe weather. Often required to work over to finish up calls.
