    Pros

Large corporate with huge investment for the future of the business. Expanding the business and constantly developing infrastructure and the way they work.

    Cons

Massive split between head office and operational sides of the business. Poor employment contracts for new starters, little career development opportunity and to much in fighting between departments. Very poor rosters for operational shift workers.

    Advice to Management

Offer promotion on merit rather than 'jobs for the boys' and who you know not what you know. For volume employees, offer a fair contract and not annualised hours. Resource for the job required, not just the bare minimum.

I have been working at Manchester Airports Group part-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Environment is great, it’s fun to work with security staff. Pay was good althought it’s levelling with other non-qualified roles. Fast paced and interesting. Constantly recruiting (perhaps due to huge turnaround o staff leaving)

    Cons

Annualised contracts leave no room for balancing life-work relationship. Management won’t give legal benefits without a little fight

    Advice to Management

    Care more for your employees

    Pros

Nothing, this is a terrible business and competent and honest people should stay away from it...

    Cons

Everything, corrupted culture, incompetent top management and poor oversight from the Board.

    Advice to Management

Get real and look at the damage you are creating for the shareholders....

I worked at Manchester Airports Group full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Has the most potential of any business but it is unlikely to be realised
There is a buzz to the environment - a lot is going on

    Cons

Abysmal behaviours displayed at senior levels where teams operate in a feudal state
Senior leaders are in it for themselves and display a lack of experience/knowledge
Culture is rotten to the core which is why many Heads of Department and Directors have recently left with no jobs to go to - that say a lot

    Advice to Management

Think about the people working for you rather than your own salaries
