I worked at Marks & Spencer part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

There training is really good and there is a nice atmosphere about the call centre, there are many companies under one building (Capita) Tesco Mobile, O2, Marks and Spence, etc. The Staff there are supportive. You can have a laugh there and they let you know when your customer service is good, they give good feedback :)

    Cons

I hat to catch 2 Buses to get to Preston Brook from Widnes, which was stressful at times. Other than that there was nothing :)

    Advice to Management

    None

    Positive Outlook

I worked at Marks & Spencer as a contractor (Less than a year)

    Pros

    - Great friendly culture and environment
    - Effective and motivating management (may vary between branches!)
    - Opportunities for development for increased salary e.g. can complete in house first aid course, as well as train to become supervisor/section leader. Can also opt for sales/retail graduate scheme with experience.
    - 20% staff discount on food, clothes and many other products.

    Cons

    - Although training is available they are seldom demonstrated, this make it hard for new comers as they will need to work out solutions for themselves which may not be the correct method. Therefore it is imperative to ask questions from the very start.
